Evaluasi Dan Pengendalian Peningkatan Mutu Dan Daya Saing Lembaga Pendidikan Islam

Abstract

The concept of educational evaluation in improving the quality of islamic education, includes: (1) efforts to obtain a strong basis for considering the end of a work period, what has been achieved, what has not been achieved, and what needs special attention; (2) to guarantee an effective and efficient way of working that brings the organization to the use of educational resources (human/manpower, facilities/infrastructure, costs) in economic efficiency; (3) to obtain facts about difficulties, obstacles, deviations seen from certain aspects, for example the annual program, learning progress. While the Implementation of the control function in improving the quality of islamic education, are as follows: (1) determine the standards or basis for conducting control; (2) measuring work implementation; (3) comparing performance with standards and determining deviations if they occur or exist; (4) carry out corrective actions if there are deviations so that the implementation and objectives are in accordance with the plan. Follow-up to determine the strategic management of islamic education institutions in facing improved quality and competitiveness, at least the institution must do the following: (1) good subject matter; (2) good educational planning; (3) good governance; (4) quality education also comes from qualified teachers.
