Syafi' AS. dan Yulia Rahmawati <p>Abstract</p> <p><em>This study aims to determine the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in overcoming the problem of juvenile delinquency of Avicenna Mojongapit High School Jombang.</em></p> <p><em>The data sources of the research are informants, events / activities, and documentation / archives. Data collection uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis using descriptive qualitative method.</em></p> <p><em>Results: Forms of juvenile delinquency (students) in Avicenna Mojongapit Jombang High School, including violating school uniform provisions, going home and going out at effective hours without information, not doing homework, skipping, late coming and smoking in the school area. The teacher as the teacher is the creator of student learning conditions that are designed intentionally, systematically, and continuously. While children as subjects of learning are those who enjoy the learning conditions created by a teacher. In fact, in the learning process of students, not only IQ is needed. IQ cannot function properly without emotional appreciation of the subjects delivered at school.</em></p> <p><em>This study aims to find out whether there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and learning outcomes of class VIII PAI MTs Thoriqul Huda South Catakgayam Mojowarno Jombang. The sampling technique uses sample random sampling. Data collection techniques to measure students' emotional intelligence are carried out by distributing questionnaires, while measuring student learning outcomes is done by asking students for the grades in the MTs. These sources the author obtained from various books and other writings by relying on existing theoretical theories to be interpreted clearly and deeply to produce theses and anti-theses by using documentation data collection techniques, observation and interviews or interviews. The results of this study can be used to add scientific information about the problem of planting Islamic religious values in the school environment.</em></p> <p><em>This research comes from several literature related to the subject matter or referred to as library research. While the data analysis technique is done by using descriptive analysis, which is to explain all the data about the teacher's pedagogical competence and student learning motivation, then draw a conclusion.</em></p> <p><em>The results of the study show that the Pedagogic Competencies that the teacher has can increase student learning motivation. Data collection is done by tracing the literature related to the subject matter of the research.
