PERAN GURU DALAM PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM

Abstract

A teacher must have understanding about curriculum because curriculum is a very important pedagogic formula in education. In curriculum, there are efforts to help students to develop their potential either performance, intellectual, emotional, spiritual and excreta. The content of curriculum can commonly be grouped to three parts. They are logic, ethic and aesthetic. In the curriculum development, it must include a study or topic that students can learn through learning process and oriented to standard of competence. Developing curriculum becomes an important duty which must be conducted by curriculum developer, such as teachers, in all education levels. There are four roles that teachers must do in developing curriculum, such as curriculum implementer, curriculumdeveloper, curriculumadapter and curriculumresearcher. If it is seen from management side, developing curriculum can be classified between centralization and decentralization.
