Abstract

The purpose of this study were (1) to determine the effect of demonstration learning methods on student motivation and learning outcomes, (2) to determine differences in motivation and student learning outcomes between demonstration learning methods and conventional learning methods. This research is a Quasi Experiment study. The population in this study was the entire study group of class VIII even semester Bolo Middle School 4 consisting of seven study groups. The instruments used in this study are (1) learning motivation questionnaire, and (2) learning outcomes test. The results showed (1) There was a significant effect of demonstration learning methods on student learning motivation, (2) There were differences in motivation and learning outcomes of students who were taught by demonstration learning methods and conventional learning methods.
