The Effectiveness of Using the Zoom Application as an Online Learning Media during the Covid-19 Pandemic for STAI Al-Amin Dompu Students

Abstract
Due to the spread of covid-19 that has occurred in Indonesia, all students in Indonesia are required to study Online at home. STAI Al-Amin Dompu is one of the campuses that implement online learning using the Zoom application. Zoom Cloud meeting is one of the online learning media that is often used at STAI Al-Amin Dompu. The effectiveness of online learning needs to be considered so that students understand when learning is taking place. The purpose of this research is to find out and understand how the effectiveness of online learning using the Zoom application at STAI Al-Amin Dompu. This study uses a qualitative research approach based on the post-positivism paradigm. The data collection technique used was through interviews. Based on the research results, it was found that online learning using the Zoom application was effective. Online learning has received very good responses from students because learning is more flexible when using it. Online learning, makes students more independent and encourages students to be more active in their recovery. The many features in Zoom make learning more interesting. Also, the understanding and acceptance conveyed by the lecturers can be felt by STAI Al-Amin Dompu students.References
