Abstract

Among Muslims, when modernity necessitates the occurrence of many changes, evengave birth to a full time uncertainty, then the Muslims seeking guidance to the era ofcertainty and stability. This they find in an era where the revelation of the ProphetMuhammad (Al-Qur'an and al-Hadith) is derived. A great attention to the historical period, it makes Hadith / Sunnah have significance and a very high rating as a symbol ofauthority. However, over the development period and increased knowledge srerta technology, the proselytizing activities and the implementation of Islamic teachings which require the use of contextual and manhaj approach (methodology) which according to the state of society and the development of knowledge. This is done so that the "spirit" content can be actualized in the life of the hadith is today. Thus the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad, who has the authority second only to the Qur'an in Islamic law istinbathwould seem to interact with the time and place (shaalihun li wa kulli meal times). This is where it can be said that to understand the hadith required a variety of theories from various social science disciplines such as Sociology, History, Anthropology, and even Psychology.Keyword: Kontekstualisasi, Interpretasi, Manhaj, Sosiologi, Antropologi.
