Pengaruh Penggunaan Smartphone Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Terhadap Minat Belajar Pendidikan Agama Islam Siswa Di SMA Negeri 3 Kota Pasuruan

Abstract

Teachers are required to think creatively when using learning media and learning media support devices, so that students can understand the content of learning materials. One of the learning media that can be used during the Covid-19 pandemic is a smartphone. Smartphones are learning media that can be used without direct physical contact. Therefore, this research is motivated by the phenomenon of using smartphones as learning media. Where students need support from learning media to increase interest in learning. Because with the new learning media can increase the enthusiasm and desire of students in learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the interest in learning Islamic religious education of students at SMA Negeri 3 Pasuruan City and to find out how much influence the use of smartphones as a learning medium had on students' interest in learning Islamic religious education at SMA Negeri 3 Pasuruan. This study uses a quantitative approach and is supported by a qualitative approach using a sample of 144 students in class X at SMA Negeri 3 Pasuruan. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires and conducting interviews. Descriptive statistical analysis is the analytical method used for quantitative research and descriptive hypothesis analysis for qualitative research. Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, it shows that there is a significant influence between smartphones as learning media and interest in learning Islamic religious education. And seen from the results of inferential statistical analysis showed that the correlation test and simple linear regression test showed that there was a significant influence between smartphones as a learning medium on interest in learning Islamic religious education by 63,5% while the remaining 36,5% was influenced by other factors. Based on the results of the descriptive hypothesis analysis (qualitative in nature) it shows that the smartphone as a learning medium in SMA Negeri 3 Pasuruan in the category of many students interested in learning PAI, namely having a feeling of pleasure, enthusiasm for learning, being active in learning, focusing on learning, and being able to express opinions.
