Abstract

For Muslims who believe in the Qur'an as a guide to their lives and various fields of human life in Islamic education the Qur'an encourages and educates the poor to be able to change their destiny so that they are not poor according to Ar Ro'du verse 11 which means: Verily God will not change a people before the people themselves change what is in themselves. The phenomenon of poverty in the time of the Prophet (PBUH) and his companions even had a friend from the village who complained about poverty and poverty, and the Prophet gave the solution to the friend, the solution was that the Prophet did not give food or money, but the Prophet gave an ax to look for firewood and then sold to the market get money to buy food to support his family, and it can be done every day, so the problem of poverty is over. He gets a job and a steady income. This study aims to find out how the conception of Islamic education in poverty alleviation and at the same time change the mindset of the poor and build a community economy that has implications for poverty reduction. In this study the analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The intended conception of Islamic education originating from the Qur'an and the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH), which contains morals, values ​​of faith, sincerity, motivation is the main instrument in changing the mindset of poor people to be better than before
