Abstract

Poverty is a classic and global problem that always exists and has an enormous impact on individual and social life. Poverty is also the big enemy of Muslims, they must fight poverty who hears it. In Indonesia, poverty seems to be a necessity for the Indonesian people, especially Muslims. The irony is that poverty remains in a country that is said to be rich in various natural resources. Some people understand poverty collectively, while others see it from a moral and evaluative perspective. And still others understand it from an established scientific perspective. Islamic education can a solution to ease poverty with the values ​​of basic Islamic education that are very much needed to provide motivation in moving the poor to change to look at life in society, because the poor are also poor mentally, materially, and education.
