PENGELOLAAN ZAKAT PRODUKTIF SEBAGAI INSTRUMEN PENINGKATAN KESEJAHTERAAN UMAT

Abstract

Zakat besides those contained in the pillars of Islam, is also a command of God that must be done when the month of Ramadan and also obliged to issue when a person has reached the limit Nisab, both in terms of livestock, agriculture, profession, and property.  In terms of its usefulness, zakat not only helps their momentary difficulties, but zakat also contains the value of usefulness from consumptive to productive. By utilizing zakat wealth productively, it means that zakat not only helps reduce the burden of the poor but also helps reduce the unemployment rate in Indonesia. With the capital of zakat assets that are utilized, the recipients of zakat can develop it to meet the needs of their daily lives.
