PENGARUH PENDAPATAN DAN POLA KONSUMSI TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN PETANI TOMAT DI DESA BULAN BARU KABUPATEN KARO

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pengaruh pendapatan terhadap kesejahteraan   petani tomat di Desa Bulan Baru Kabupaten Karo, (2) pengaruh pola konsumsi terhadap kesejahteraan petani tomat di Desa Bulan Baru Kabupaten Karo, (3) pengaruh pendapatan dan pola konsumsi terhadap kesejahteraan petani tomat di Desa Bulan Baru Kabupaten Karo. Penelitian ini dikategorikan sebagai penelitian kausal. Desain penelitian kausalitas adalah jenis penelitian yang disusun untuk meneliti adanya hubungan sebab-akibat antar variabel, sehingga peneliti dapat menyatakan klasifikasi variabel-variabelnya. Jumlah sampel yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 66 responden. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode angket, dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda, yang meliputi uji t dan uji F dengan bantuan SPSS 20 untuk program windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan pendapatan terhadap kesejahteraan petani tomat di Desa Bulan Baru Kabupaten Karo secara parsial, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, H0 ditolak, (2) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan pola konsumsi terhadap kesejahteraan petani tomat di Desa Bulan Baru Kabupaten Karo secara parsial, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, H0 ditolak, (3) ada pengaruh positif dan signifikan pendapatan dan pola konsumsi terhadap kesejahteraan petani tomat di Desa Bulan Baru Kabupaten Karo secara simultan, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, H0 ditolak. 74,1% kesejahteraan petani tomat di Desa Bulan Baru Kabupaten Karo dipengaruhi pendapatan dan pola konsumsi, dibuktikan dengan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,741.   Kata Kunci: Pendapatan, Pola Konsumsi, Kesejahteraan     Abstract: This study aims to determine (1) the effect of income on the welfare of tomato farmers in Bulan Baru Village, Karo Regency, (2) the effect of consumption patterns on the welfare of tomato farmers in Bulan Baru Village, Karo Regency, (3) the effect of income and consumption patterns on welfare tomato farmers in Bulan Baru Village, Karo Regency. This research is categorized as causal research. Causality research design is a type of research that is structured to examine the existence of a causal relationship between variables, so that researchers can state the classification of the variables. The number of samples involved in this study were 66 respondents. Data were collected using the questionnaire method, analyzed using multiple linear regression, which included the t test and F test with the help of SPSS 16.0 for Windows programs. The results showed that: (1) there is a positive and significant influence of income on the welfare of tomato farmers in Bulan Baru Village, Karo Regency in part, this is evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected, (2) there is a positive and significant effect of the consumption patterns on the welfare of tomato farmers in Bulan Baru Village, Karo Regency in part, this is evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected, and (3) there is a positive and significant effect of income and consumption patterns on the welfare of tomato farmers in Bulan Baru Village Simultaneously, this is proven by the significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected. The magnitude of the influence of income and consumption patterns on the welfare of tomato farmers in Bulan Baru Village, Karo Regency, is 74,1%. The coefficient of determination of 0,741 proves this result.   Keywords: Income, Consumption Patterns, Welfare
