Mastery of basic numeracy is essential for supporting students' cognitive development, including the ability to count from 1 to 10 in Arabic. At the Al-Anwar Madrasah Diniyah, some students struggled to understand and express the numbers 1 through 10 in Arabic; they often felt bored during lessons, partly due to the use of unsuitable instructional media. Consequently, a guided intervention program was implemented at the school. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed for this intervention. The process involved using illustrated media and followed these steps: greeting the students and inquiring about their well-being; introducing the Arabic numbers 1–10 without visual aids; presenting the material using images; incorporating singing; matching images with the corresponding numbers; and conducting an evaluation before concluding the lesson
