IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PAI PADA ANAK BERKEBUTUHAN KHUSUS (ABK) SLB NEGERI 1 NGAWI

Abstract

This writing describes the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education Learning for Children with Special Needs (ABK) at SLB Negeri 1 Ngawi for the 2022/2023 Academic Year, which is motivated by the renewal of curriculum use after the Covid-19 Pandemic by the Ministry of Education and Culture, including at SLB educational institutions. . Considering the complexity of implementing the independent curriculum with various demands from variouslearning aspects, searching for teaching materials, media and methods independently. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation. Meanwhile, data validation uses source triangulation. The research results show that the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum at SLB Negeri 1 Ngawi is going quite well. The implementation of learning is adjusted by forming classes into phases of children's development. Islamic Religious Education learning is conducive to innovative use of varied media and methods. The child's condition is the most important inhibiting factor in implementing the Independent Curriculum in SLB, however, the Independent Curriculum gives teachers flexibility in the assessment process so that children's competencies can be explored properly.
