Abstract

Abstract: This research describes the implications of Dhikr on Mujahadah An nafs among female students at the Al-Ghufroniy Islamic boarding school. Phenomenological research method with research subjects 3 female students. Data collection methods use interviews, observation. data validation using source triangulation. Carrying out oral Dhikr bil by listening to the thoyibah sentence after every fardhu prayer with the guidance of the Islamic boarding school madam or prayer priest at the Pondok prayer room. Dhikr bil qolb is carried out by saying Asmaul Husna silently individually in the Santriwati room. Dhikr bil jawarih is done by performing the dhikr of the thoyibah sentence accompanied by the behavior of avoiding Allah's prohibitions and carrying out worship. Implementation is carried out at any time, regardless of place. Internally, fatigue and chronic illnesses that often recur make female students not optimal in their mujahadah and nafs. Meanwhile, the ability to make appropriate decisions by considering the consequences of their behavior makes them carry out optimal mujahadah and nafs. Externally, good social relations between friends, teachers and parents make female students have role models in carrying out mujahadah and nafs. Directions from parents and teachers help female students to form self-control. The implications of dhikr for the mujahadah and nafs of female students help control behavior that is contrary to the Qur'an and Sunnah, direct positive emotions and avoid negative emotions, and control thoughts by seeing destiny not only from the outside. negative but also positive.
