PERAN PENYULUH AGAMA DALAM MENINGKATKAN LITERASI ZAKAT DAN WAKAF MASYARAKAT KABUPATEN PROBOLINGGO

Abstract

The Zakat and Wakaf literacy improvement program is a program that must be conducted seriously by religious scholars. Religious leaders who have an important role to play in the success of this programme must be fully accountable in accordance with their role as religious leaders. With the recognition of the importance of literacy zakat and wakaf will raise public awareness to issue zakat & wakaf. The purpose of this research is to describe the role of religious leaders in probolinggo districts to improve literacy of zakat and wakaf. The research uses a qualitative approach with interview data collection techniques and library expression. As for the results of this study, the role of religious teachers as regulators in increasing literacy of zakat and wakaf in probolinggo districts is still not maximum, the number of inhibitors becoming one of the reasons for the roles of religion teachers in improving literature of Zakat and Wakaf in Probulinggo Districts has not been fully seen.
