Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Number Head Together (NHT) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Sains
Abstract
Arabic learning is one of the subjects that is difficult for students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Students experience difficulties in learning science because they are considered boring. This is coupled with the lack of teachers in using the right method in teaching science. This study aims to determine whether the use of the cooperative learning model type Number Head Together (NHT) has an effect on student learning outcomes in Science lessons at MI Sugihan Kampak. This research is a Classroom Action Research which applies two cycles with data collection techniques in the form of tests, interviews, observations, field notes, documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions or data verification. The results of this study indicate that the students' responses to the use of the cooperative learning model type Number Head Together (NHT) very positive. Learning outcomes in cycle I that the average learning outcomes achieved was 72.08% and in cycle II was 82.78%. Meanwhile, the number of students who had completed their studies was 20 students (86.95%) and only 3 students who had not completed their studies (13.04%). So the average student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II, which is equal to 10.7 as well as in the completeness of learning Science there is an increase of 30.43% from cycle I to cycle II. The use of the cooperative learning model of the Number head Together type (NHT) has an effect on student learning outcomes in science subjects material for classifying animals based on the type of food
