Abstract

simple terms, a teacher is someone who imparts knowledge to students. A teacher is a professional educator with the primary task of educating, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating, across formal education, primary, and secondary education. An educator is also a responsible adult who provides assistance to students in their physical and spiritual development, so that they reach maturity, are able to stand on their own two feet, and fulfill their maturity level. Teachers have many duties, both those bound by duties outside of the office and in the form of devotion. If we group them, there are three types of duties: namely, duties in the professional field, humanitarian duties, and duties in the social field. Becoming a teacher is indeed easy and difficult, in the sense of a professional teacher. Therefore, supervision is carried out in schools by supervisors, namely supervisors. To shape teachers, guidance is needed to improve teacher quality. From the description of several guidelines that can help teachers, a common thread can be drawn as an illustration that becoming a teacher is indeed easy and difficult, in the sense of a professional teacher. Therefore, supervision and supervisors are held in schools.
