PEMIKIRAN DAN MATERI PENDIDIKAN TASAWUF DALAM PERSPEKTIF IMAM ABU HASAN ALI AL-SYADZILI

Abstract

Modern society is getting anxiety and spiritual drought, that makes them chose to return to the religion values and spiritualism. Sufism education becomes an alternative to clear and reassuring. Abu Hasan Ali al-Syadzili offers a sufism model that adopts the thought of Imam Ghazali, that is the sufism derived from the Qur'an and the hadith, in practice, pupils still in daily activities to look for daily needs, but his soul is filled with closeness to Allah. At some point, students are able to feel true happiness, to carry out the material or the teachings of sufism in education under the tutelage and guidance of a teacher (mursyid). The thought of al-Syadzili in sufism includes taubah, istiqamah, zuhud, raja’ and qana'ah. Education of sufism according to al-Syadzili is guidance, teaching and training conducted by mursyid against pupils forlife to purify the soul and heart, to make closer to Allah and  able to (wushul) to him in order to achieve happiness in the world and hereafter. Al-Syadzili encourages students to achieve them to have forgiveness, dzikr, shalawat upon the Prophet, hizib, fida' and 'ataqah, istighatsah, muraqabah and fasting.
