PENGARUH LOCUS OF CONTROL TERHADAP KINERJA GURU DENGAN ETIKA KERJA ISLAM SEBAGAI VARIABEL INTERVENING

Abstract
This study is aimed to examine the effect of moderating Islamic work ethic variable toward locus of control relationship with teacher’s performance. The test is performed using linear regression. The research using census method and involves as many as 37 teachers of the al-Qur’an education (TPQ) at Menganto Mojowarno Jombang. The result of the study indicated significantly effect of Islamic work ethic from relationship between locus of control to teacher’s performance. Interaction coefficient is positive with significance Ï about 0.042 (Ï <0,05) gives the sense that moderating variable of Islamic work ethic strengthens the relationship between the locus of control with teacher’s performance. A significant positive effect of locus of control on teacher performance and Islamic work ethic variable have a significant effect on teacher’s performance.
