Urgensi Logoterapi dalam Pendidikan Islam pada Masyarakat Ekonomi Asean (MEA)
Abstract
This article discusses the importance of developing logo therapy, especially in Islamic education, to equip the students in searching the meaning of life, so they can prepare to take part and compete in ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) era. AEC is an interstate community in Southeast Asia that forms an absolute economic cooperation, The ASEAN region will be an open and single market based on the production of goods, services, investments, capital, and even labor. Logo therapy, on the other hand, is conceptually associated with the idea of ​​the meaning of life. This logo was actually found by Viktor Emil Frankl. It is the treatment or therapy that helps a person in finding the meaning of his life. Logo therapy in Islamic education teaches that every human have to have patience in studying, so it is expected to be able to every moral value experienced. In this case, the teachings of Islam, such as Logo therapy will teach Human beings always have great hope without any hopeless to achieve their goals. In facing the AEC, the students must have knowledge and endurance to achieve their success. Logo therapy in Islamic education combines the positive values that every learner must have in order to be able to face all challenges.
