ANALISIS NILAI-NILAI PROFETIK BAGI PENGEMBANGAN KURIKULUM PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM (Studi Atas Pemikiran Kuntowijoyo)

Abstract

The comprehension of Islam ideology, especially for theology aspect, needs new interpretations to understand the realities which always change. The effort to reorient religion comprehension, either individually or collectively, is to behave empiric facts based on theology perspective. The new interpretation to understand this fact can be done by elaborating ideology in the form of social theory. It was chosen because it can engineer the changing through objective language and think the result is more empirical, historical and temporal. The target scope from this social theory is on engineering for social transformation. Therefore, it appears the concept of prophective social study (ISP) stated by Kuntowijoyo. ISP is social study that not only explains and changes the social phenomenon but also gives instruction to what and who the transformation is done. The tree-values for ISP characteristic are to do or hold for goodness (humanism), to prevent badness (liberalism), and to devout to Allah (transcendence). The effort to raise and develop those three-values will be more effective if it is applied through education process. Therefore, education will never take down from raising values to form mankind profile to be better at thinking, behaving, attitude and having good moral. The statement of Kuntowijoyo about the changing humanism-antropocentris to be  humanism-theocentris in the western view makes one alternative in facing globalization with current its industrialization.
