KEDUDUKAN DAN KONTRIBUSI FILSAFAT ILMU DALAM ISLAMISASI ILMU PENGETAHUAN BAGI MASYARAKAT MODERN

Abstrak

The advance of knowledge and the Islamicization of knowledge should be back to the main original aim. The aim is the knowledge philosophy as medium to make people on the world prosperous, but it is not to threaten the existence of people. The knowledge philosophy in the Islamicization of knowledge functions as value giver to knowledge development and it will be worded by knowledge axiology. It focuses on knowledge development which constitutes ethical attitude that shall be developed by a scientist. The knowledge philosophy and the Islamicization of knowledge give wider outlook for students to see something not only focusing on each window of knowledge but also other windows of knowledge. Therefore, there should not have arrogance on one subject because it can be a sign that it is uncreative and easy to satisfy.
