Islam dan Pluralitas Sosial di Era Madinah
Abstract
Abstract, this paper aims to map how historical facts about pluralism in the Medina era (prophetic era) occurred?, and to what extent did the scholars' discussions about pluralism in this era emerge. The reality of pluralism does not only occur in the area of ​​culture, but this reality also occurs in the area of ​​religion and ethnicity. However, if this plurality is not managed properly, it will result in conflict and conflict between existing groups and between religions. An understanding of singular claims in some of the matters mentioned above (particularly with regard to religion, ethnicity and culture) can affect inharmonious relations in the life of the nation and state of a human being. The understanding that these prophetic events influenced the understanding of Muslims towards the pluralism events that occurred in the Medina era can be used as a basis for Muslims in dealing with the dynamics of pluralistic contemporary life, therefore this study was written. This paper concludes; that Islam and pluralism in the Medina era were mapped into three categories; namely in the field of religion, in the field of ethnicity and ethnicity and in the field of culture. It is this factor that encourages the need to make a charter agreement as one of the wisest efforts to reduce widespread social conflict. Especially if accompanied by strong sanctions for violators.
