Peran Pemimpin dalam Menumbuhkan Motivasi Belajar dan Karakter Disiplin Peserta Didik di Pesantren La Raiba Hanifida

Abstract

Students at the La Raiba Hanifida Diwek SuperCamp Islamic Boarding School demonstrate disciplined behavior in various aspects of life, including learning, daily routines and worship. They obey the rules, both written and unwritten, which have become part of Islamic boarding school culture. This disciplined attitude is driven by high learning motivation, which ultimately contributes to good achievement. This research wants to discuss the role of the leader of the La Raiba Hanifida SuperCamp Islamic Boarding School in fostering student motivation and discipline. This research uses a qualitative approach to understand the role of the leadership of the Hanifida Educational Institution in cultivating learning motivation and disciplinary character of students at the La Raiba Hanifida Islamic Boarding School. The results of this research show that the Leader of the La Raiba Hanifida Islamic Boarding School has an important role in fostering students' learning motivation and disciplined character. They adopt an approach as educators, managers, motivators, supervisors and change agents to create a conducive institutional climate. Through innovative programs, they have succeeded in empowering their subordinates and providing direct motivation to students. This Islamic boarding school also emphasizes character formation with Islamic values, time discipline, and obeying rules, in line with leadership theories that focus on good change for the institution holistically.
