Abstract

Thel qualilty of elducatilon iln Ilndonelsila stilll facels varilous challelngels, onel of whilch ils thel low motilvatilon of studelnts to lelarn. Obselrvatilons iln class 3 of SDN Kalangsaril V show that studelnts telnd to havel low motilvatilon to lelarn and elngagel iln unproductilvel actilviltilels durilng thel lelarnilng procelss. To ovelrcomel thils problelm, thils study elxamilnels thel applilcatilon of thel Gamel Baseld Lelarnilng (GBL) melthod to ilmprovel thel motilvatilon of studelnts to lelarn iln Ilslamilc Rellilgilous Elducatilon (PAIl) subjelcts. Thils study usels thel Classroom Actilon Relselarch (CAR) melthod wilth relselarch subjelcts of 24 studelnts iln class 3 at SDN Kalangsaril V. Thel relselarch was carrileld out iln two cyclels, elach consilstilng of thel plannilng, actilon, obselrvatilon, and relflelctilon stagels. Thel ilnstrumelnts useld ilncludel obselrvatilon shelelts of studelnt lelarnilng actilviltilels. Iln cyclel Il, thel relsults of thel obselrvatilon showeld that 72.83% of studelnts welrel ilncludeld iln thel actilvel catelgory, but thelrel welrel stilll somel aspelcts whosel pelrcelntagels welrel not optilmal. Iln cyclel IlIl, aftelr makilng ilmprovelmelnts baseld on thel relflelctilon of cyclel Il, studelnt lelarnilng motilvatilon ilncrelaseld to 83.5%. Thel relsults of thel study show that thel applilcatilon of GBL ils elffelctilvel iln ilncrelasilng studelnt lelarnilng motilvatilon. All aspelcts of lelarnilng motilvatilon, ilncludilng elnthusilasm, compleltilng assilgnmelnts correlctly, thel abillilty to analyzel problelms, choosilng thel belst solutilon, elxchangilng ildelas, and ilntelrelst iln lelarnilng, elxpelrilelnceld a silgnilfilcant ilncrelasel from cyclel Il to cyclel IlIl. Thus, GBL can bel an elffelctilvel altelrnatilvel lelarnilng melthod to ilmprovel studelnt lelarnilng motilvatilon at SDN Kalangsaril V. Thils study elmphasilzels thel ilmportancel of usilng ilnnovatilvel and ilntelractilvel telachilng melthods to crelatel a fun lelarnilng elnvilronmelnt that motilvatels studelnts to bel morel actilvel iln thel lelarnilng procelss.
