PENGELOLAAN SISTEM INFORMASI PENDIDIKAN TERHADAP ADMINISTRASI PENDIDIKAN DI SMPN SATU ATAP 1 JAYAKERTA KARAWANG
Abstract
Management of educational information systems is a vital component in efficient and accountable educational administration. Educational information systems enable accurate, relevant, and easily accessible data processing, which plays an important role in decision making, as regulated in Permendiknas No. 19 of 2007. The application of information technology facilitates communication between schools and the community, while accelerating the reporting process. At SMP Satu Atap 1 Jayakerta Karawang, the use of the Dapodik application is an example of how educational information systems can help report student, educator, and allowance data online. However, the management of educational information systems is faced with the challenges of limited budget, uneven HR competency, and inadequate infrastructure. Supporting factors such as HR skills in the field of information engineering with collaboration between educational institutions can maximize the implementation of educational information systems. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the Dapodik application is very helpful in planning educational programs and monitoring the quality of education, so that it can encourage improved educational administration with the support of competent HR and consistent policies.
