PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA POSTCARD TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN MENGENAL KOSA KATA BAHASA ARAB ANAK USIA 5-6 TAHUN DI TKQ AN NAMLU KARAWANG
Abstract
This research discusses the influence of postcard media on the ability to recognize Arabic vocabulary in children aged 5-6 years at TKQ An Namlu. Postcard media is a card that is often used to convey message content via post. The media used is designed as an illustrated postcard media with an attractive design and provides novelty by using glitter so that Arabic vocabulary writing has a rough texture to develop children's ability to recognize Arabic vocabulary. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental type, using an on group pretest posttest design. The research population was all children in group B TKQ An Namlu with a sample of 13 children. Data collection is carried out from the initial pretest stage, then providing treatment to children, and providing posttest or final test activities. The data analysis techniques used were statistical analysis, descriptive analysis, Shapiro-Wilk normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing in this research was carried out over 8 meetings. In calculating that the value of tcount is -51.880 and ttable, the score is 1.782, which means that the value of tcount > ttable, then the rule decided in this research is that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. To prove that there is a change in a positive and significant direction, the Sig value has been found. (2-tailed) < 0.05, then the rule decided is that the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Thus, postcard media can help children develop their understanding of Arabic vocabulary.
