Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process of implementing Islamic education in building religious harmony in Windu Village, Karangbinangun District, Lamongan. The focus of the research includes methods, strategies, and impacts of Islamic education in creating harmony between religious communities in rural communities. A qualitative approach is used by data collection methods in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that Islamic education in Windu Village is carried out through religious activities, such as recitation, interfaith discussions, and social cooperation. The approach of tolerance, mutual respect, and the teaching of universal Islamic values are key in building harmony. The impact can be seen in the harmonious life of the community, minimal conflict, and good cooperation between Muslims and other religious people. In conclusion, Islamic education plays a significant role in strengthening religious harmony by instilling values of tolerance and togetherness in the midst of a diverse society.
