Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using social media on students' learning motivation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects at SDN Pantiwinaya Subang. Data collection methods were carried out through questionnaires, data analysis methods used were validity, reliability, normality tests, linearity tests, hypothesis tests and simple regression analysis tests. The method used in this research is quantitative with a random sampling type of research. The population of this study was all students at Pantiwinaya Subang State Elementary School, totaling 129 people, 52 male students and 77 female students. This research instrument uses a questionnaire distributed via the Google Form application. The result of calculating the hypothesis in simple linear regression analysis is a significance value (Sig.) of 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that the two variables influence each other. With an R Square value of 0.361. This value means that the influence of Social Media (X) on Learning Motivation (Y) is 36.1%
