Pengembangan LKPD Berbasis Discovery Learning Materi Transformasi Energi pada Pembelajaran IPA Kelas IV SD
Abstract
This study aims to develop and validate a Student Worksheet based on Discovery learning for teaching energy transformation in fourth-grade science classes at SDIT Pelita Khoirul Ummah. The research adopts the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), but due to time and resource constraints, it focuses only on the Development phase. The validation process involves three experts: a subject matter expert, a design expert, and a language expert, using quantitative and qualitative data collection methods, including validation instruments, questionnaires, observations, and documentation. The validation results demonstrate high feasibility across multiple criteria. The subject matter validation achieved an average score of 91%, design validation scored 89%, and language validation scored 90%, indicating that the LKPD is "very feasible" for classroom implementation. The expert feedback highlighted the alignment of content with curriculum standards, the effectiveness of the Discovery learning approach, and the clarity and appropriateness of the language used. These findings suggest that the developed LKPD can effectively support the teaching of energy transformation in elementary science classes and can be further tested in actual classroom settings.
