Efektivitas Pendidikan Karakter Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Haramain NWDI Narmada.

Abstract

It cannot be denied that Covid-19 has forced the majority of almost all educational institutions in Indonesia to conduct distance education, forcing students to study without meeting their teacher in person. However, there are several educational institutions that also continue to hold educational and learning activities.Character education is an effort that is designed and implemented systematically to help students understand the values ​​of human behavior related to God Almighty, oneself, fellow human beings, the environment, and nationality. These values ​​can be manifested in thoughts, attitudes, feelings, words, and actions based on religious norms, laws, etiquette, culture, and customs.Character education activities at the Nurul Haramain Islamic Boarding School NWDI Narmada aim to provide opportunities for students to develop and express themselves according to the needs, talents, and interests of each student according to the conditions of the institution. Self-development activities are under the guidance of counselors, teachers, or education personnel which can be carried out through extracurricular activities.Character education at the Nurul Haramain Islamic Boarding School NWDI is generally implemented through refraction, with many routine daily activities, from waking up to going to bed. Constraints that often arise in the implementation of character education are the different characteristics of students. In addition, there are rules/policies for limiting activities so that it makes it difficult to hold activities outside of formal schools.
