Abstract
Judul Buku  : Muhammad’s Mecca: History in The Qur’anPenulis        : William Montgomery Watt Al-Qur’an sebagai sumber utama dan sekaligus petunjuk ke jalan yang paling benar bagi hidup umat Islam merupakan wahyu ilahi dengan segala kebenarannya. Ketika al-Qur’an berbicara tentang sejarah kemudian ummat Islam menafsirkan artinya, itu adalah hal biasa dan memang seharusnya. Namun ketika kaum orientalis membicarakan sejarah berdasarkan al-Qur’an, sungguh merupakan hal yang luar biasa sehingga perlu sekali kiranya untuk didengar dan dicermati. Karena bagaimanapun juga ini berguna untuk melihat Islam sebagai agama secara obyektif yang tidak bisa melepaskan diri dari tali benang sejarah sebelum Islam muncul.References
