PERKEMBANGAN PEMIKIRAN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DI MALAYSIA
Abstract
Malaysia sebagaimana Indonesia merupakan Negara yang pendudukanya mayoritas Muslim terbesar di Dunia. Demikian pula dengan kultur, adat istiadat bahkan bahasapun masih serumpun dengan Negara Indoensia. Tetapi melihat perkembangan pendidikan akhir-akhir ini, Malaysia terlihat begitu maju dari segi pendidikan dan keislaman. Hal ini terlihat dengan lahirnya beberapa istilah yang mengemuka dalam dunia peradaban Malaysia, seperti konsep Tamaddun, konsep Islam Khadari dan lain-lainnya. Konsep-konsep tersebut mengitari perkembangan pendidikan di Negara tersebut. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menelaah konsep-konsep Islam tersebut, demikian pula dengan konsep pendidikannya sebagai sebuah kontribusi untuk menegok perkembangan pendidikan di Indonesia.
