Model Pendidikan Karakter di SDIT Anak Sholeh Mataram

Abstract

SDIT Anak Sholeh Mataram, an Islamic Elementary School located amid the community of Mataram city, combines three curricula which are natural sphere integrated school typical with the 2013 National Education curriculum and are connected through the spider web method, namely: a. curriculum developing the intelligence b. Curriculum developing social creativity. c. Curriculum developing piety. The development of this integrated curriculum applies a model of education character class-based and school culture-based. This has become a new brand and distinctive feature at the school during the present rise of Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools. The purpose of this study is to explain and describe the Character Education Model at SDIT Anak Sholeh Mataram, and to explain the role of school elements in its implementation. The current research was qualitative with a case study design where the data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The study unveiled that the development of the character education model was applied at SDIT Anak Sholeh Mataram and observed the role of school elements, such as principals, and teachers in the development of the model.
