Abstract

However, more than that, Islamic religious education teachers have a considerable duty and responsibility in providing guidance, direction and educating students by internalizing religious values ​​in students, so that students can behave and have good character, as well as have faith and devotion to Allah. SWT. Therefore, it is necessary to have a teacher who is able to educate, guide and guide and form a perfect human being with good morals. All of that depends on the role, duties and responsibilities as a teacher of Islamic education. The role of Islamic religious education teachers in internalizing religious values ​​in students at SMP Negeri 1 Grati Pasuruan is as a teacher, mentor, educator, role model, and motivator. Internalization of Religious Values ​​in Students at SMP Negeri 1 Grati Pasuruan has a positive impact on students, including encouraging students to improve the quality of their faith and devotion to Allah SWT as a good Muslim, changing student attitudes or morals in accordance with legal norms. Islam, students can read and understand the recitation of the Koran well and fluently and make students aware of the importance of religious values.
