Abstract

This study aims to find out how the strategy for fostering student discipline is to establish congregational dhuha prayers at MTs Sunan Ampel Kraton, Pasuruan Regency. The type of research in this thesis is qualitative research, which emphasizes analysis on the inductive inference process. The approach taken by the author is a case study approach. Data collection is done by conducting observations, interviews, documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction analysis, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate: 1) the strategy of fostering student discipline in establishing dhuha prayer in congregation at MTs Sunan Ampel Kraton Pasuruan is cooperation between teachers, staff and students. So that the implementation of the dhuha prayer in congregation can be done with discipline. 2) the obstacles experienced during the congregational dhuha prayer were some students who were difficult to manage and the lack of places for ablution'. 3) the efforts made by the teacher in order to be able to build students into children who have good character.
