Studi Komparasi Konsep Pendidikan Akhlak Menurut Ibnu Miskawaih dan Hamka
Abstract
This study analyzes the concept of moral education according to Ibnu Miskawaih and Hamka. The main focus of this research includes: (1) examining the concept of moral education as proposed by Ibnu Miskawaih and Hamka, (2) identifying the similarities and differences between their perspectives, and (3) exploring the relevance of their concepts of moral education to contemporary education. This research employs a qualitative approach through library research methods. The findings indicate several differences in the foundations, content, and methods of moral education between the two thinkers. However, both share a common goal: the formation of behavior, character, and noble personality (akhlaqul karimah) that emerges naturally within individuals. Based on the analysis, the concepts of moral education from Ibnu Miskawaih and Hamka remain highly relevant and applicable to moral education in the modern era.References
