Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Contextual Teaching and Learning dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Dapat Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Di SMP Islam
Abstract
The CTL (Contextual Teaching and Learning) model is a student-centered learning approach that connects the learning material with real-life situations, making students more interested in learning, especially in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the CTL model in Islamic Religious Education learning and how it can increase students’ learning interest, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in achieving learning objectives. This research uses a qualitative approach with a field research design. Data were collected through direct observation of PAI learning activities in the classroom, interviews with the principal, PAI teachers, and students, as well as documentation. The findings show that the implementation of the CTL model is carried out through several stages: the invitation stage, the exploration stage, the explanation stage, and the action-taking stage. The supporting factors include teachers, students, and the learning environment. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors include student diversity, student conditions, digital challenges, and time limitations.
