Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Team Games Tournament (Tgt) Dalam Meningkatkan Keaktifan Dan Hasil Belajar Akidah Akhlak Peserta Didik

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the cooperative learning model of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type in teaching Akidah Akhlak at MA NU Sunan Ampel Baujeng and to analyze its impact on students’ activeness and learning outcomes. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The research subjects consist of the Akidah Akhlak teacher and tenth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used an interactive model, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, and the validity of the data was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results show that the implementation of the TGT cooperative learning model was carried out through several stages, namely material presentation, group division, team study, game tournaments, awarding, and reflection with feedback. The application of this model has been proven to enhance students’ activeness, enthusiasm, and engagement in the learning process. In addition, the TGT model has a positive impact on students’ understanding of Akidah Akhlak material and creates a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment. The main supporting factors in the implementation of this model are the high level of student enthusiasm and support from the school, while the inhibiting factors include limited time and the need for more thorough preparation. Therefore, the cooperative learning model of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) type can be considered an effective alternative for improving the quality of Akidah Akhlak learning, particularly in enhancing students’ activeness and learning outcomes.
