Abstract

Understanding education as a process of humanization, also known as humanizing humans, must be explored and developed again; this is known as humanist education. In reality, humanist education has been applied to a variety of Islamic education programs or practices. Humanist education, on the other hand, should have been chosen first so that it is compatible with Islamic values before being implemented in Islamic education. This is due to the fact that humanist education is based on Western educational philosophy, which employs an epistemological approach that is at odds with Islamic values, such as the understanding of atheism and secularism. On that basis, the researcher is interested in developing the concept of the Prophet Abraham's humanist education model
