Articles written on El Furqania about 1) Islamic thought; 2) Islamic law and 3) Islamic education in the form of conceptual ideas, literature review, practical writing, and research results.

Writing Guide

  1. Journal of El Furqania invites scholars and experts in the field of Islamic Studies, especially those related to the focus and scope of the Journal of El Furqania
  2. The articles submitted are original works, have never been published, and are not being reviewed by the other journals.
  3. Manuscripts are typed in Microsoft Word format, Times New Arabic font, 12 pt font, one space, A4 paper size, and writing length ranges from 15 to 25 pages. Example form and Manuscripts can be sent via email: jurnal.stiu@gmail.com
  4. Articles are written in Indonesian or in Below the article title, the author's name and author's members (if any), the address of the author’s institution, and the author’s email addressare listed. If the author consists of more than one person, it is enough to include the email address of the main author. If the authors’ institutionsare different, all the addresses of the authors’ institutions are included.
  5. Articles must be occupied with an abstract of 00 to 250 words in length in English and Indonesian, and keywords of 3 to 5 words. Abstracts for articles originating from research reports contain the objectives, methods, and findings of the study.
  6. Articles submitted must contribute something new in the field of Ushuluddin. The systematics of writing articles originating from the literature review are as follows:
  • Introduction:Explains the background of the need to discuss the topic being studied.
  • Discussion on the main theme of the writing:describes the main theme of the study which is stated in the form of sub-sections or sub-titles. This section also contains the author’s analysis of the main themes.
  • Conclusion: presents the main findings of the study.
  • Bibliography: the bibliography is made regularly and alphabetically. Every reference in the footnote must be listed in the bibliography.

While the articles that come from the results of research with the systematics of writing are as follows:

  • Prolog (Introduction):explains the theoretical background, related studies, and the purpose of conducting the study.
  • Metode (Method):describes how the study was carried out, includingthe type of research, the methods used, the data collection techniques, the data analysis techniques, and other things deemed necessary.
  • Hasil dan diskusi (Findings and Discussions):the study findings must be clear. The discussion is an exploration of the importance of these findings, and also conducts discussions with various other research findings in a similar study.
  • Epilog (Conclusion):presents the main findings of the study.
  • Daftar Pustaka (Bibliography):the bibliography is made regularly and alphabetically. Every reference in the footnote must be listed in the bibliography.

  • The bibliography must contain at least 80% of the main sources, which is from scientific journal articles, articles from research books, etc.
  • The bibliography is a scientific publication of the last 10 years, except for references related to the Turat
  1. The submitted articles will be reviewed by editors and reviewers.
  2. The editor has the right to reject article manuscripts that do not match the focus, scope, and writing style of the Ushuluddin Journal.
  3. The author of the article is not charged at any circumstance.
