IMPLEMENTASI “RODA DEMING” PADA SISTEM PENJAMINAN MUTU PERGURUAN TINGGI

Abstract

qualified university is the university that has capabilities to improve quality continuously, which involves collective cooperation of all component of academic community. One of the quality improvement model that can be adopted by the quality assurance of higher education institutions is a Deming Wheel model or commonly called the PDCA cycle. In the implementation of the Deming Wheel model, the important role is the standard as a place to start.  So, there is a base of cycles to run and improving the quality can be measured consistently. Quality improvement process that performed consistently and transparently by the entire academic community will produce a quality culture, because quality is a value and responsibility of all parties.
