FIKRAH NAHDLIYAH SEBAGAI PONDASI KEHIDUPAN BERBANGSA DAN BERNEGARA

Abstract

Nahdhatul Ulama (NU) as social organization has contributed and proved its existence since 1926. This is the answer for non NU Parties doubts toward the NU real struggle which has been done by NU theologian. As “big umbrella†projection, NU has initiated trilogy ukhuwah, such as ukhuwah Islamiyah, ukhuwah wathaniyah and ukhuwah basyaria. NU ideological basis, in Fikrah Nahdliyah, is clear and has been a guide of its members attitudes and as their characteristics. NU rests on Sunni teaching intended to de- termine the struggle direction that useful for realizing people goodness (ishlahul ummah), as well as a thingking method (manhaj) of NU in responding problems, either religion or social. The NU idiology in the field of ‘aqidah follows al- Asy’ari and al-Maturidi, in the field of fiqh, NU follows one of the four mazhab priests and in the field of Sufism, it fol- lows al-Baghdadi and al-Ghazali. Fikrah Nahdliyyah includes traits of fikrah tawassuthiyyah which is moderate, fikrah tasamuhiyyah is tolerant, fikrah ishlahiyyah which is reforma- tive, fikrah tathawwuriyyah is dynamic and fikrah manhajiyyah which is methodological.
