Larangan Riba, Bunga dan Bahaya Riba Perspektif Ekonomi Islam

Abstract

There are negative assumptions that arise in the community regarding economic transactions. For example, the statements "interest" and "profit sharing" are the same thing, justifying something that has become a habit/previous tradition even though after being studied and researched it turns out to be in the category of usury and is still reluctant to get used to something that is right but has not been a tradition so that it seems that Islam does not take care of worship/ activities that are not directly related to Allah such as mahdoh worship listed in the pillars of Islam. The question that arises then is why did the statement appear from among the Muslims who are still reluctant to attempt any transaction that should be weighed in the eyes of sharia? What are the dangers of usury, in this world and in the hereafter?
