Abstract
Allah swt menciptakan laki-laki dan perempuan dengan derajat yang sama, yang membedakan hanyalah keimanan dan ketakwaannya. Al-Qur’an menyebutkan bahwa laki-laki dan perempuan memiliki tanggung jawab yang sama dalam membangun kehidupan yang berkualitas sebagaimana dicita-citakan ajaran Islam. Derajat laki-laki dan wanita tidak ditentukan oleh jenis kelamin, melainkan pada kualitas masing-masing. Terhadap produk-produk fiqh seperti kesaksian, imamah sholat, dan lain-lain tidak tertutup peluang untuk dilakukan ijtihad ulang, sebab fiqh hanyalah sebuah produk pemikiran yang kebenarannya bersifat relatif. Fiqih bisa berubah sesuai dengan tuntutan zaman.
