Etika publikasi ilmiah berpedoman dengan tiga substansi etika dalam publikasi, yaitu (i) Kenetralan, yakni bebas dari kesenjangan kepentingan dalam pengelolaan publikasi; (ii) Keadilan, yakni memberikan hak penelitian jurnal kepada yang berhak sebagai pengarang/penulis; dan (iii) Kejujuran, yakni bebas dari duplikasi dan fabrikasi. El-Banat: Jurnal Pemikiran dan Pendidikan Islam is a peer reviews journal, publish twice in year, print and online publish. El-Banat published by Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) YPBWI Surabaya Indonesia. This statement explains the ethical behavior of all parties involved in publishing articles in El-Banat, including writers, editors council, bestari partners and publishers. This statement is based on COPE's Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors.
Ethical Guidelines for Publication
Theosophical Publishing articles is an important building in the development of a coherent network of knowledge and respected. This is a direct reflection of the quality of work of the authors and the institutions that support them. The articles were reviewed to support and contain the scientific method. Therefore, it is important to agree on standards of ethical behavior expected of all the parties involved in publishing, namely: author, editor of the journal, smart partners, publishers and the public.
Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam (STAI) YPBWI Surabaya Indonesia as the publisher responsible for guarding all stages Joeces publishing seriously and recognizes the ethical responsibilities and other responsibilities. Institutions other than committed to ensure that the print ads and other commercial income has no impact or influence on editorial decisions, is also committed to assist communication with journal managers and/or issuer to another, if deemed useful and necessary.
Decision of Publication
Joeces editor responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted should be published . Validation of the work and the centrality of the researcher and the reader should always encourage these decisions. The editor can be guided by the policies of the board of editors of journals and restricted by law must be upheld as concerns defamation, copyright infringement and plagiarism. Editors can negotiate with the other editor or the assessment team in making this decision.
Editors always rate a script based on their intellectual content regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy of the authors.
The editors and staff editors must not disclose any information regarding the submitted manuscript to anyone other than the author, expert editors, bestari partners and publishers.

The materials disclosed in unpublished manuscript submitted should not be used in the editor's own research without the express written consent of the author clear.

Contribution to Editorial Decisions
Evaluation smart partners to assist editors in making editorial decisions and through the editorial communications with the author may also help writers improve writing.
Each assessor chosen who are not qualified to judge the research reported in a manuscript or knows that rapid review will not have to notify the editor and rid itself of the assessment process .
Each manuscript is accepted to be rated should be treated as confidential documents. The document should not be shown or discussed with others unless authorized by the editor.
Assessment should be conducted objectively. Critics are personal to the author is not justified. Assessors should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
Assessors should identify relevant published work that is not cited by the author. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument had been previously reported should be accompanied by relevant quotes. An appraiser should also ask the editor's attention to the similarity or overlap between the manuscript assessed and other writings have been published.
Notice and Conflicts of Interest
Confidential information or opinion obtained through assessment bestari partners must be kept secret and should not be used for private purposes. The assessor should not consider manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest that comes from relationships or connections that are competition, cooperation, or other with any author, company, or institution related to writing.
The author should present an accurate account of the work created and discussion on significance. Basic data should be represented accurately in writing. An article should include sufficient detail and references to permit others to repeat the work. Statements fraudulent or intentionally inaccurate constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.
Authenticity and plagiarism
The authors should ensure that they have written works that are entirely original, and that they have quoted correctly when using the work and/or words of others.
Double Publishing , repetition or Coincided
An author is generally not publish the manuscript which essentially describes the same research in more than one journal or primary publication. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently constitute unethical behavior and are unacceptable.
Fair recognition of the work of others must always be given . The authors should cite the publication of influence in determining the nature of the work being reported.
Authorship should be limited to those who made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution or interpretation of the study reported. All the people who made significant contributions should be listed as (co-authors). If there are other people who participated in certain important aspects of the research project, they should be acknowledged or listed as a contributor (contributors). The author is right to ensure that all appropriate co-authors put in writing, and that all authors have seen and approved the final version of the paper and have agreed submission for publication.

All authors should disclose in their manuscript any financial or other conflicts and other substantive conflict that might influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript. All financial support for the project must be notified.
Fundamental errors in published works
If an author finds errors or inaccuracies that means in the paper publication, the author is obligated to promptly notify the journal editor or publisher and cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper
