Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

 

The journal invites scholars and experts working in Islamic Economics. Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals. All submitted papers are subject to review of the editors, editorial board, and blind reviewers. Submissions that violate our guidelines on formatting or length will be rejected without review.

Articles should be written in Indonesian or English between approximately 7.000-9.000 words including text, all tables and figures, notes, references, and appendices intended for publication. All submission must include 150 words abstract and 5 keywords. Quotations, passages, and words in local or foreign languages should be translated. Economic accepts only electronic submissions. All manuscripts should be sent in word to: jurnaleconomic@staidu.ac.id.

All notes must appear in the text as citations. All works cited must appear in the reference list at the end of the article. In matter of bibliographical and footnote style, Economic follows the turabian style, can be downloaded here or accessed eturabian.com

Arabic romanization should be written as follows:

Letters: btthjkhddhrzsshghfqlmnhwy. Short vowels: aiu. long vowels: āīū. Diphthongs: awayTā marbūṭāt. Article: al-. For detail information on Arabic Romanization, please refer the transliteration system of the Library of Congress (LC) Guidelines.
