TRADISI SANAD DALAM ILMU QIRA’AT
Abstract
Talking about how to read the Qur'an, there is a scientific discipline that specifically discusses how to read the Qur'an, namely the science of qira'at. There are several ways to read the Qur'an which add to the beauty of the Qur'an and are also comprehensive in guiding human life wherever and whenever. But unfortunately most Muslims do not know, let alone understand, the various types of qira'at. This is because one of the factors is that each region in the Islamic community only engages in one of several types of qira'at al-Qur'an. The seven qira'at imams, namely Ibn Kathir, Ibnu Amir, 'Asim, Abu 'Amr, Hamzah Nafi' and al-Kisa'i who are known as qira'at al-sab'a are The main reference for Muslims in how to read the Koran. The seven imams of the qira'at have narrators (as mentioned in the previous chapter) which are also references for Muslims in how to read the Qur'an because (perhaps) the seven imams still have qira'at that still need to be detailed further so that makes it easier for Muslims to practice reading the Koran.
