Abstract

Learning planning can be interpreted as a process and way of thinking about something that will be done with the aim that students can change in cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects so that they can help create the expected results. Planning as a process of carrying out activities can be formulated through three steps, namely: the formulation of the objectives to be achieved, the selection of programs to achieve the objectives, and the identification and mobilization of resources that are always limited in number. These three things should take into account the nature of the future conditions, in which effective decisions and actions will be implemented. The benefits that educators get when carrying out the planning process include: a careful planning process will avoid chance success, as a tool to solve problems, to utilize various learning resources appropriately, and planning will able to make learning take place systematically. In addition to some of the benefits of preparing learning plans above, there are several functions possessed by learning planning, namely: creative functions, innovative functions, and selective functions. communicative function, predictive function, accuracy function, goal achievement function, and control function.
