This character should be able to be maintained through educational institutions in order to give birth to a generation of nations who recognize and preserve the national character that has existed since their ancestors. In fact, today's society is experiencing a setback so that it swallows a bitter pill of medicine which turns out to be damaging to people's lives. For this reason, the existence of schools is one of the solutions to develop the character of the nation that is missing today. Schools are expected to be able to distribute the panacea of ​​several societal diseases caused by modern currents and also the global era of the world. The development of national character in schools through Islamic religious education is carried out in several stages.
